Start of the new year with incorporating more healthy meals and snacks into your diet like this green detox smoothie.
Ingredients
1 cup (40g) fresh spinach, washed and dried
¾ cup coconut milk
¼ cup ice
1 cup (150g) pineapple, outside and hard core removed
1 medium-sized banana
½ teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
Instructions
Blend the spinach, coconut milk and ice together. Then add the pineapple, banana and chia seeds until smooth. Pour the smoothie into a glass and drink immediately or cover with plastic wrap and store it in the fridge for later. Consume within 1-2 days.
Notes: frozen fruit can also be used.
